Poetry and Miscellany

  • Poem

    Men say they know many things;
    But lo! they have taken wings—
    The arts and sciences,
    And a thousand appliances;
    The wind that blows
    Is all that any body knows.

    ~ Henry David Thoreau

Pros & Cons.

Lots to think about. As Oscar Wilde said, “Only an auctioneer admires all schools of art.” I do not fall into auctioneer category, by any means, but I think there are readers out there for every brand of poetry, and the promotion of poetry (as opposed to the idea of poetry–good point made, there, Chuck) is always a good thing.
