Poetry and Miscellany

  • Poem

    Men say they know many things;
    But lo! they have taken wings—
    The arts and sciences,
    And a thousand appliances;
    The wind that blows
    Is all that any body knows.

    ~ Henry David Thoreau

Still Speechless

Posted by Matthew on April 10, 2007

Honestly, I still don’t have a lot to say right now. It’s really my own fault, but between the holiday weekend and work and various appointments, I have been a busy little bee. Too busy, apparently, to do much in the way of thinking about poetry (with the exception, of course, of the NaPoWriMo poems I have been scrawling down on napkins and the like.

Anyway, keep reading and keep writing, and hopefully I’ll be back on track soon!
