Poetry and Miscellany

  • Poem

    Men say they know many things;
    But lo! they have taken wings—
    The arts and sciences,
    And a thousand appliances;
    The wind that blows
    Is all that any body knows.

    ~ Henry David Thoreau

Looks like Billy has some interesting things going on at MuseCrafters. I will be keeping my eye on & possibly plugging this one; I’d love to see it really take off.

Poem: a haiku by Carol Raisfeld (it’s down a ways on the page–first line is “midnight moon”)
Thoreau: May 7, 1859
