Poetry and Miscellany

  • Poem

    Men say they know many things;
    But lo! they have taken wings—
    The arts and sciences,
    And a thousand appliances;
    The wind that blows
    Is all that any body knows.

    ~ Henry David Thoreau

Excuses, Excuses

Posted by Matthew on June 5, 2007

I have been busy, but that is no excuse. Wait a minute, sure it is! I’ll post whenever I want, buster!

See, now that’s the kind of thing I’ve been thinking to myself recently. I have indeed been busy, and I waffle over how good an excuse that is for not doing something I love doing: blogging. So, here I am, blogging again. Anyone care to start a pool regarding my posting regularity?

    Thanks for reading, Matt! It’s worse than NaPo, keeping motivated. For sure.

    All best, Nic
